In the run-up to the European Youth Week 2007, the website youthweek.eu was created for young people and those interested in topics relating to youth and youth policies. Young journalists write for young people. The website itself is run by a team of young journalists of the European Youth Press.

The European Commission wants young people from all over Europe to participate in European youth policies, and youthweek.eu is intended to inform young people and youth policy makers about the European Youth Week 2007 and about youth activities, which took place at European, national, regional and local level.
