More than 90 delegates and guests came together for four days in Cardiff, Wales for the 25th annual conference of EYCA.

The EYCA conference took place in Cardiff from May 14 throughout May 17, 2009. It was hosted by Canllaw Online, the Welsh EURO<26 member organisation.

The first session of the conference was dedicated to evaluating EYCA’s performance since the last conference – the members analysed key documents such as the business plan, the budget and the annual report. The following full day focused on quality issues for youth cards as well as the association’s future projects and programmes.

EYCA would like to thank our partner organisations ERYICA and European Youth Forum for participating in the plenary discussion about the “Communication of the new framework of the new Youth Policy in Europe” for 2009-2015 together with a representative of the European Commission.

In the closed General Assembly, EURO<26 member organisations decided on the introduction of the new logo and approved other changes regarding the European Youth Card Association.
