The European Youth Card EURO<26 has undergone two major changes:
we increased the age limit for cardholders to 30 in most of our member
countries and changed our logo.
To read in which countries you can get the European Youth Card
discounts up to the age of 30, please click here.
For the logo re-design we ran a competition, in which we received an
overwhelming 5000 entries. Thank you to all the graphic designers once
again. A professional jury and our member organisations then chose the
winning logo.
To make sure everybody gets familiar with the new logo, we are going to
use it for the next two years (May 2009 until May 2011) together with
the old Hercules logo. So from now, you’ll be seeing them
together in all places where the European Youth Card EURO<26
offers are available.
So what is cool about the new logo? We kept the pink and yellow of the
old logo and also good old Hercules (representing the strength of
youth, in case you did not know) is still there after a bit of
makeover. The four letters in the logo stand for both European Youth
Card and European Youth Card Association, which is the name of our
umbrella organisation.
We hope you will like the new logo and we will do our best to bring you
the best of services and discounts around.
