European Youth Card
Association
The European Youth Card Association promotes youth mobility and
information for young people through the issuing of the EURO<26
cards.
The EURO<26 youth card is a key for young Europeans to
information, mobility, culture and participation. Through a range of
services, discounts and advantages, the EURO<26 card encourages
young people to make informed life choices, explore their world, and
play a full part as citizens of Europe in today's society.
Structure of EYCA
The European Youth Card Association (EYCA) represents 62 youth card
organisations, in 41 European countries, issuing EURO<26 youth
cards to over 4.3 million young people aged under 26 or under 30
depending on the national organisation (for more information please
EYCA was founded in 1987. The EYCA Office is based in
Bratislava, Slovakia.
Objectives in the field of Youth Information
Services
EURO<26 youth cards provide young people with youth information
through different channels: annual guides, magazines, newsletters, and
helpdesks. In their communication the EURO<26 cards underpin the
European dimension of young people's lives and the European
opportunities available. Projects such as Youth Builds Europe,
EYCAdemy, and Europe for a Change
seek to engage young people themselves in the creation of media,
campaigns and research tools to further disseminate information.
