The EURO<26 / European Youth Card is available to ALL young
people aged under 26 or under 30, depending on the national card
organisation. The EURO<26 / European Youth Card is valid for up
to three year, and can be renewed each year until the cardholder
reaches the age of 26 or 30. To find out which member organisations of
the European Youth Card Association raised the age limit for
cardholders up to 30 years of age, please go to the news section.
In May 2009, EURO<26 / European Youth Card launched the
re-branding of its Hercules logo. To mark the increase of the age limit
to 30, the European Youth Card Association ran a competition for the
re-design of its well-known logo. The winning design, which combines
the Hercules figure and the letters EYCA, will be used during a
transition period together with the old logo. (For more information
about this subject, please click here.)
Wherever the old and new EURO<26 / European Youth Card logo is
displayed, the cardholder gets a discount for services and products.
All EURO<26 / European Youth Card national organisations will
run a re-branding campaign to inform discount providers and cardholders
about the changes.
To become a cardholder, there is no requirement to be a student or to
be a European citizen. The EURO<26 / European Youth Card is
