EYCA Environmental Commitment
We live in a time where nobody can ignore that environmental issues matter. Also within EYCA and its members environment has become more and more of an important concern. As an organization doing a lot for young people in particular, EYCA is responsible to contribute actively to preserving the environment and good living conditions.
A committed interest and active participation in climate protection strengthens young people’s personal responsibility with regard to the big themes such as pollution and climate changes. It is EYCA’s concern to encourage and support this, which may only be advocated believably if the Association observes its function as a role model in a responsible way.
Living environmentally conscious is a personal and a corporate value embedded into the larger context of sustainability. EYCA encourages its members to engage in behaving and acting according to sustainability and to actively promote it.
The idea is to live according to the policy within EYCA and to promote it to young people:
- To promote sustainable behaviour among EYCA members and office
Action / ideas to develop at local and European level by member organizations and by EYCA office trough staff sensitization.

- To join environmental initiatives and partner with environmental organizations
