Reduced ticket on entrance. The Museum of Modern Art is located in a building, constructed in 18th century, that used to serve as the headquarters to the garrison of the fortress that Szczecin at that time was suppose to be. Later, the building was rebuild many times. The place is nowadays mostly used to present temporary exhibitions of modern art, including the Baltic Biennale of Modern Art, a major international artistic event which has been taking place in Szczecin since the beginning of the 1990s.
